Made in USA! This very cool AAA flamed amber finish looks stunning especially with it's carved maple arch top. This Wolfgang Standard Deluxe has all the best hardware and materials other Wolfgang models do not have. The Standard Deluxe has pearloid tuner buttons, both a volume and tone knob and a maple top.
The guitar is in pristine near mint condition and is virtually un-played. Absolutely NO fret wear! dings or dents. Very light scratching above the rear cavity cover. I tried to capture this in the photos.
This Wolfgang was purchased for a collection and kept in a smoke free climate-controlled environment its entire life.

A Peavey USA Wolfgang Standard is a serious, serious instrument. This is one of the highly sought-after Amber Flame Tops--and this guitar is freakin' CLEAN!! I mean clean. You want this one. Keep Reading...
This guitar is so clean you will think you just got home from your local music shop in 1999.
I have had the privilege to own and play some of the finest guitars ever made. Vintage, modern day custom shops and some of the truly unique one-offs. The Peavy EVH remains to this day one of my favorite guitars. The versatility, feel, play, sound, harmonics... the list goes on. This guitar can hang with the best of the best and is so fun to play, you never want to put it down. They are great, great instruments that can take a pounding and stay the course. I urge you to try something different.
Here is a little Peavey EVH information. We see so many of them online and it can get very confusing.
Q: Why are some of them priced high and some priced low??
A: This auction shows the top-of-the-line maple arch top. All others are of a solid basswood construction (3 pieces of basswood). The Standard can always be identified by having two knobs (volume and tone) and an "arch top", although it can be hard to tell in pictures sometimes if a guitar has an arch top. On a black or ivory standard, assume it has no maple top and thus it will not have the little extra brightness in the tone that a maple top gives you. Very first guitars were late 1996. The Standard and Standard Deluxe were the only models until 1998. A stop tail bridge version first was offered in late 1997 or 1998. What it comes down to is What country was it made and is it a Special or a Standard. The Standard has 2 knobs and is a top-of-the-line USA piece.
Specials were made in the USA and in Asia. The Asian made ones do not have serial numbers engraved in the wood on the rear headstock. They had labels with thick, black font numbers. Values are also based on which finishes you have. White and Black are very, very common. When you get into Flame and Quilt Tops, you will see values rise and certain colors will command a premium.
And the Hard tail was just introduced to the Wolfgang series back then about a year before this one was made.
Excellent craftsmanship on this guitar. You can hang this guitar in your living room with a picture light on it and watch your friends and family gawk over it. I am confident the next owner will be as pleased as I am with this.
This is a serious guitar for the money. They just do not come any cleaner than this.

The fingerboard is fast; the harmonics scream and even the rhythms pound deep. To play the EVH is fun, fast and you just can't put it down! This is an amazing piece of equipment that any musician will treasure.
Anywhere you read about an EVH Wolfgang, you will see talk of the neck.
The necks on these guitars are right out of heaven. So fast, so fun-- You will be hard pressed to find a bad review of any EVH guitar, especially the Peavey Wolfgang Standard. I just cannot say enough great things about them. Possibly the perfect rock guitar with the beautiful birds-eye figuring throughout the neck.
I love and play everything from AC/DC right to Van Halen. For Rock N Roll classics and even heavier stuff like Sabbath/Ozzy and Metallica, the EVH holds some incredible tones and is one of the most versatile guitars you can ever own.
The harmonics scream ala the original master: Eddie Van Halen
