A Flamed Maple Top Mira... a rare bird.
If you've ever watched Paul Reed Smith demo his famous Custom Amps, it's likely you saw him using one of these. While you can find solid mahogany Miras pretty much any time you want one, a maple top variant doesn't pop up for sale too often. This one is in good condition for a guitar that has earned the right to be called a musical instrument. It's made some serious music! I came to me with the "history marks" you see on it and has been babied since. I don't mind the honest play wear, but I've priced this guitar accordingly for those who need incentive. The worst marks are on the lower front horn, and aren't noticeable from the stage, with the other minor dings mostly around the edges. As you can see, there's nothing egregious there, but I want you to see what is there.
All original as far as I am aware, with the pickup split switch, and everything works as you'd expect. Case is solid, while displaying a little outer wear. Please ask if you need a photo of anything particular. I want you to love it as much as I have! 7 pounds 5 ounces on my kitchen scale, so light on the shoulder and heavy on the tone! Build details are on the sheet in the photos.
Please ask all questions prior to the sale, as I am a musician and not a store, so all sales are final and no returns accepted. I will ship quickly and safely following sale, with tracking and insurance provided via the Reverb portal. Thank you for looking!
