2007 Gibson Flying V Faded Cherry – Seymour Duncan Upgrades + Hardshell Case

Up for sale is my 2007 Gibson Flying V in the classic Faded Cherry finish. This is a fantastic-playing V that has all the vibe of a well-loved Gibson without the inflated price of a collector-grade case queen.

The guitar is lightweight, resonant, and plays incredibly well with a comfortable neck and excellent fretwork. The faded satin cherry finish has aged beautifully over the years, giving it the worn-in look that only comes from nearly 20 years of honest use. It has a few small dings and signs of use, but nothing major—just the kind of cosmetic wear that adds character to a guitar like this.

Upgrades include a set of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. They are Jimmy Page “Whole Lotta Humbucker” pickups, they sound excellent—clear, punchy, and full.

The electronics have also been modified with one of the original volume controls replaced by a kill switch, making it a fun and useful feature for stutter effects and live performance.
