Vintage 1995 Mesa Boogie Mark IV Combo Widebody— Excellent Condition, Original Owner, Complete.

For sale is my 1995 Mesa Boogie Mark IV combo wide body, an early transitional model in excellent condition. I am the original owner, and it includes all case candy: manual, tags, and original receipt. Mesa Boogie’s Mark IV is one of the most respected and collectible vintage amplifiers, known for its versatility, power, and classic tone. • 85W: Full Power + Simul-Class + Pentode (Maximum headroom and punch)
• 70W: Full Power + Simul-Class + Triode (Warm, vintage response)
• 50W: Full Power + Class A + Pentode (Punchy, mid-watt focus)
• 30W: Full Power + Class A + Triode (Spongy, earlier breakup)
• 15W–45W: Tweed Power Mode (Built-in Variac drops voltage by ~40% across all settings for ultimate low-volume saturation)

Tube Configuration & Customization
Runs 5x 12AX7 preamp tubes and a unique 4x 6L6/EL34 power section. The inner two sockets require standard 6L6 tubes for deep bass and glassy cleans. The two outer sockets can be hot-swapped for EL34 tubes to blend in aggressive, British-style midrange crunch when running in Class A or Lead modes.

This amp has the desirable early Series B features, including the horizontal effects loop jacks and hard-wired power cord. It is fitted with highly sought-after Svetlana “Winged C” 6L6GC STR-454 power tubes, a tube set prized by many players for its clarity and articulation.

I recently had this amp inspected and serviced by a Mesa Boogie authorized/certified service technician. It received a clean bill of health, including verification that the electrolytics/capacitors show no signs of bulging or leaking, as shown in the photos.

Condition is exceptional with no abuse and minimal road wear, and everything is original except the fan which I replaced (original included) because the original fan was getting noisy. This is a premium example for a serious collector or player who wants a well-preserved Mark IV.
