Rickenbacker TR50 Vintage 4x10 Solid State Guitar Amplifier Combo Amp
Here's a rare piece of Rickenbacker amplification history. This vintage TR50 combo amplifier features a powerful 4x10 speaker configuration, onboard reverb and distortion circuitry, dual-channel operation, and classic 1970s styling. Rickenbacker amplifiers are far less common than the company's guitars and basses, making these an interesting find for collectors, vintage amp enthusiasts, and players looking for unique solid-state tones.
The large cabinet houses four 10-inch speakers and delivers substantial volume and projection. The amp features independent controls for reverb, EQ, distortion, and volume functions, making it capable of a wide variety of clean and overdriven sounds. The onboard spring reverb and vintage solid-state design give it a distinctive character that stands apart from more common Fender, Peavey, and Roland offerings from the era.
This example has been tested and is functional, but there are known control modifications/issues present. According to our technician's evaluation, the distortion control potentiometer is damaged and the control labeled as Reverb on Channel 1 currently functions as a gain control. Because of these issues, the amplifier is being sold in its current condition and priced accordingly.
