Here is what one reviewer called "the most controversial and unusual guitar Parker has ever produced" - basically Parker's take on the Tele. The body consists of two hefty slabs of nicely figured Ash, but weighs in at only 7 lbs. thanks to the iconic Parker body contours. There is a bolt-on 22 fret Maple neck, with Grover tuners. Electronics include Parker Anico single coils, controlled by volume and tone pots, with a traditional three-way lever. In addition, there is a Fishman VT Powerbridge, with 6 independent Piezo saddles powered by an active preamp. A single volume control regulates the output, while a three-way microswitch allows you to mix the piezo and magnetic pickups. The guitar does a great job of producing classic Tele tones, but adds a whole new dimension with the Piezo setup. There is a smart jack that allow you to either use a regular mono cable, or a stereo cable to send out the mag and piezo signals to separate amps. I will include a stereo cable. The guitar is in excellent shape, with only a couple of very minor dings, and some rash on the pickguard. I bought it from the original owner in 2008, but hardly ever played it since I aquired a both a Fly Artist and a MidiFly at about the same time, and went with them. It has been kept in a temperature/humidity controlled room with the rest of my collection since then. The guitar ships in the original heavy duty Parker gigbag, including the case candy that came with the guitar.
