I grade this drum  8.0 VG — Very Good. Shows normal amount of wear for its age. 

Some imperfections, fleabites, pitting, rust, marks, light scratches but looks really great overall, with normal amount of wear for its age.  Absolutely no cracks and a solid seam. The badge is scratched (as seen in the photos) and the original hoops are untouched and could use a refresh.

9.5 Exc/Mint — Excellent to Mint. Looks almost new, shows only slight evidence of use.

9.0 Exc — Excellent. Shows light wear but taken very good care of.

8.5 VG/Exc — Very Good to Excellent. Shows less than normal wear.

8.0 VG — Very Good. Shows normal amount of wear for its age.

7.5 Gd/VG — Good to Very Good. Shows a little more wear than usual.

7.0 Good — Still in decent condition but shows more than normal wear.

6.0 Fair — Rough condition, but useable.

5.0 (and less) Poor - Rough condition needs repairs to become useable.
