This set was custom made at GMS by Rob and Tony in 1997 for Jeff Ocheltree - Jeff was working at the time with GMS and Paiste on his custom snare drums. GMS in the 1990’s was a custom drum manufacturer out of NY. They unfortunately closed in 2021! Their drums are made with fit and finish that no big manufacturer could match.
This set is a tobacco lacquer finish with brass lugs. 8 ply maple shell with 45 degree bearing edge. The condition of the set is almost brand new. It was used in the studio once when it was brand new then put into cases for over 25 years. This set looks NEW!
