I'm selling a mint-condition Electro Voice PL5. It is the “pro line” version of the 635A. The difference between them is the color of the mic - nothing else. This is an omnidirectional mic that was originally marketed for use by news reporters. Turns out it's a GREAT mic for guitar amps, especially at a distance. It’s also very cool on drums, particularly when smashed with an aggressive compressor. And don’t pass up the chance to use it on vocals!

The 635A has been discontinued by EV. The PL5 as well.

This one is in excellent condition, no dings in the screen, no visible scrapes on the barrel... and these are built to last forever. Of course it sounds like it's supposed to. It comes with an EV 311 clip and EV zippered pouch. You’re unlikely to find another in this condition.
