The Danelectro DE-1 Dan-Echo is a digital delay pedal built around the PT2395 chip. It delivers warm repeats with a tape-like character thanks to the Hi-Cut control that rolls off highs on the echoes. The Lo-Hi switch extends the delay range while the Mix, Speed, and Repeats knobs handle level, time, and feedback.
Delay times run from short slapback up to just over a second depending on the range switch setting. The circuit stays relatively quiet even with the tone shaping engaged, making it useful for both subtle echoes and more pronounced repeats without excessive noise.
