Original owner.
The sound is magnificent with a deep bass: powerful, balanced, and resonant. It has a 25 ½-inch scale length with a 1.75-inch nut width, and, as with most Taylors, the action is fast and smooth. It is a joy to play.
It is equipped with an aftermarket LR Baggs pickup, accessible via a jack on the tailpiece.
This 1993 Taylor 710 acoustic guitar features:
- a solid Sitka spruce top
- a solid Indian rosewood back and sides
- a mahogany neck.
- it features a tortoiseshell pickguard
- an ebony bridge with black tuning pegs
- and a rosette inlaid with multicolored bands
- The 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with dot inlays ends at a rosewood-veneered headstock
- fitted with three chrome-plated Schaller closed-back tuners on each side
- Taylor logo.
It shows cosmetic signs of wear from normal use and age, including a few dents and scratches, particularly near the soundhole. One crack professionally repaired 30 years ago near the bridge that has been stable. Neck replaced at the Taylor factory in El Cajon after the original was damaged in shipping. Impeccable and like the original.
Comes with its original hard case.
