Squier Upgraded Black HSH Parts Caster, Gator case, strap, tech set up

This black HSH Squier parts caster has many upgrades and a complete tech set up. It plays and sounds great! Please refer to the pictures and tech notes below for a full description of the build.

Tech Notes:
This guitar is a combination of Fender, Squier, and Les Paul parts with upgraded components and wiring.
The bridge and neck humbucker pickups are from an 2008 Epiphone standard Les Paul, the middle single coil pickup is from a stock 2006 Fender strat with a new black cover added. The neck is from a 2001 Squier Affinity 20th Anniversary Stratocaster s/n #CY01123236 with the original tuners and neck plate and is in great shape.

The Volume and Tone pots have been upgraded to Super Dunlop DSP250K audio taper pots. An .022uf Orange drop capacitor is wired for both tone pots. The far tone pot has a jumper added to work for the bridge and middle pickup, the middle tone pot is for the neck pickup. The pickup heights are set for balanced audio output when using the upgraded Fender 5-way toggle switch. All the wiring has been upgraded to Cloth covered 22awg vintage guitar wire. New Switchcraft ¼” output jack and chrome plate.

The pickguard and back tremolo plate have been replaced to black pearl with new black screws.
The frets have been leveled, beveled, and crowned as needed. Frets are polished and the fretboard cleaned and conditioned with Music Nomad F-One oil.

The black Squier body was purchased from Reverb 2022 and has a nice patina showing signs of roadworn use over the years with minor dents, dings, and scuffs, and minor surface cracks at the neck joint and top strap button. The body and tremolo cavity have been lined with copper conductive tape for shielding out any noise from lights or computers. An extra body ground has been added as well as the bridge ground. Overall, this is a very loud guitar with very minimal outside noise interference. Great for shredding with high gain or for clean jazz tones to everything in between.

Restrung with Ernie Ball Super Slinky 9-gauge (.009-.042) strings and stretched to stay in tune. The tremolo springs are adjusted for the tremolo to float. It will come back to perfect tune when using it up or down. Neck relief is set to .012” at the 7th fret, action at the 17th fret is 4/64” treble side to 4.5/64" bass side, intonation set accurate for all strings at the 12th fret, nut height is .018” -.020” at the 1rst fret.
Includes a Gator GBE-ELECT soft case and D`Addario PWS100 black Nylon strap.
