Up for sale is my Taylor 615e, a genuinely great-playing and great-sounding guitar that I'm letting go at an honest price to reflect its condition.

The good: This guitar plays and sounds fantastic. The 615e is one of Taylor's most beloved models — big maple-driven tone, that signature Taylor clarity, and the ES electronics system works perfectly. Action is comfortable, neck feels great, and it rings out the way a Taylor should.

The honest: There are two cosmetic issues to know about going in:

• A hairline crack on the bottom of the body. It is purely cosmetic — no structural concern, no effect on tone or playability. It is stable and not propagating.
• Strum wear divots on the top from years of use. Nothing unusual for a well-played guitar, but visible up close.

This is not a pristine showroom piece — it's a guitar that's been played and loved. For a luthier, a player who doesn't mind the cosmetics, or someone looking to score a high-end Taylor at a significant discount, this is a solid opportunity. A luthier could address the crack for a relatively modest cost and have a beautiful instrument.
