Roland GK-2A Guitar Synthesizer Driver (13-Pin GK System)
The Roland GK-2A is a hexaphonic (divided) guitar pickup and synth driver designed to interface your electric guitar with Roland’s 13-pin GK guitar synthesizer ecosystem. Using six individual pickups—one per string—the GK-2A sends six parallel analog signals through a 13-pin GK cable to a compatible processor for synth tones, alternate tunings, modeling, or MIDI conversion. Outputs both the standard guitar string signal and individual string control data for synthesizer control, so can be used for both synthesizer control and as a normal guitar pickup.
Use as a synthesizer pickup requires an external interface.
