I just built this ‘51 hybrid Tele style guitar with USA and Japanese parts.
The alder body was made in the USA. The 2 piece book matched alder body was left unsealed and sprayed with Vintage Amber nitrocellulose lacquer by Stew Mac and was finished with semi-gloss lacquer and polished to a sheen with the more coarse grain showing through. The body is very resonant.
The solid maple neck was made by Fujigen Gakki in Japan. The same company the makes the Fender necks for the ‘51 Telecaster reissue guitars. Bone nut. 25.5” scale with 9.5 degree radius and medium jumbo frets.
It has Fender Vintera II electronics, pickups and wiring. Also the Vintera II control plate. These are lightly used.
It has a new 5 hole Bakelite pick guard.
The bridge is a new Joe Barden made in USA. It has compensated brass saddles.
The tuners are Gotoh made in Japan. The string ferrules are also Gotoh Japan.
It has a solid brass input jack cup. The neck plate is also Gotoh Japan.
The guitar comes with a late model hardcase.
Selling as is with no warranty.
It will be professionally packaged and shipped with insurance.
It may need to be tuned and setup to your personal playing preferences upon receiving, no partial refunds are given for this as it is normal after shipping a guitar.
THIS IS NOT A FENDER GUITAR, IT JUST HAS AN EARLY MODEL HEADSTOCK LOGO.
