1956 Fender Telecaster

This 1956 Fender Telecaster was owned by Alice Stuart a Northwest Folk & Blues Legend.
CONDITION: We rated it as "Good", it was set up by Alice to be the iconic player that she designed. Alice was also a resident of Olympia and was a personal friend and customer of the Shop. It has been modded over the years by Alice. The Tuners have been changed, the Bridge, It has the Buzz Feiten Nut and string Trees, the neck has been slimmed a bit and the Pickups have been changed to a matching Lindy Fralin Telecaster Blues Specials. The Pots and the Pickguard have been changed as well. This was all done by Alice and we have kept it just as she played it. The 1970's Case still has Her Stickers on it. All the Case Candy was Her's too. This is a very Special Guitar
Includes Vintage 1970's Fender Case that still retains the stickers that she placed there herself. also Her Custom Leather Strap with Her Name Stitched in Leather "Alice".
Alice Stuart: Alice Stuart (June 15, 1942[1] – July 31, 2023) was an American blues and folk singer-songwriter and guitarist. She toured the UK with Van Morrison and throughout the United States with Mississippi John Hurt.[2][3]
Her singing, songwriting, and guitar playing secured her invitations to tour nationally and internationally with Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Doc Watson, Jerry Ricks, Phil Ochs, and Joan Baez, in addition to television appearances on The Dick Cavett Show and the Old Grey Whistle Test. In addition, Stuart's songs have been recorded by Kate Wolf, Irma Thomas, and Jackie DeShannon.
