Serial Number : 245840 , Weight: 7.02 lbs.

Amazing Vintage Fender Antigua, Original Case and Whammy Bar.

This 1967 Fender Coronado II with Tremolo in Antigua is in Excellent condition. It's all original aside from new frets, which are in amazing shape, and strap lock strap buttons that were added at some point. It's made with a hollow Maple body, Maple neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard. It has a nut width of 1.634", a 25.5" scale length, and it weighs 6 pounds 12 ounces. It has a 7.25" radius and a medium C neck profile. It has the original Grover tuners, DeArmond single coil pickups, and floating bridge and tremolo system.

This bad boy is in excellent condition. There's the usual weather checking and a couple finish gashes (one on the front and one on the back). It plays like butter and it comes with its original Victoria hard shell case, which is in excellent condition.

Overview

The Fender Coronado II was a part of the short-lived Coronado Series, designed by Roger Rossmeisl after the CBS buyout. The Coronado II was one of the first Fender hollowbodies, sporting two single-coil DeArmond pickups and an optional tremolo system. Unfortunately, Fender's attempt to enter into the hollowbody market failed; the Coronado II and its siblings didn't catch on and only lasted through a few years of production; however, their uniqueness has made them beloved by some players and collectors.

The original case is included.  A great package!
