For sale is an extremely rare 1989 Marshall JCM800 2205 (Serial No. X02588) together with its original matching Marshall 1960B Lead Series 4x12 cabinet, both finished in White Tolex.
The amplifier is completely original and unmodified. It delivers an incredibly aggressive yet articulate tone with plenty of clarity and punch.
Being the highly sought-after 50-watt version, it reaches that rich, saturated Marshall overdrive at more practical volume levels compared to the 100-watt model, making it much easier to push the power section without excessive volume.
Both channels work flawlessly and can be switched via footswitch. Everything functions exactly as it should.
The matching 1960B cabinet is loaded with its original Celestion G12-65 speakers.
The entire half stack is in very good condition and can be tested in person by prior appointment.
I am only selling it because I also own a Marshall JCM800 2204, which I simply end up playing more often.
