For sale is a pair of Genelec 8050A bi-amplified active studio monitors, made in Finland.

These are classic professional Genelec nearfield/midfield monitors, well known for their powerful low end, excellent stereo imaging, high output and very accurate translation. They are the original 8050A model, built like tanks and still widely used in professional studios.

Both monitors are in excellent working condition and sound as they should. No issues with the drivers, tweeters, amplifiers or rear controls. The front grilles and drivers are in good condition.

Cosmetically, they show normal signs of use for their age, including some scratches, scuffs and marks on the cabinets and rear panels. Please check the photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Nothing structural, just cosmetic wear.

One visible serial label shows Sep 05, so these are early Finnish-made units from the classic 8050A production period.
