The expression they don’t make them like they used to can certainly apply to Guitars due to the avaiable wood supply. This beautiful ‘51 flamey blonde from the house of Epi has over its lifetime had two changes. In the 70’s a Gibson Es 175 fretboard was pro installed and the New York pickups were replaced with matching neck and bridge Gibson Patent sticker mini Humbuckers. The shrinking of the binding was addressed, the electronics cleaned and a full set done. Comes in her original Indiana brand brown case in good shape. Whereas the original Pickguard has warped and slightly deteriorated it is included. All around a great playing and sounding vintage guitar for considerably less than some new green wood archtop. Whereas local sale is preferred shipping can be discussed. Thank you.
