1953 GIBSON Les Paul Model Goldtop

A 1953 Gibson Les Paul Model Goldtop, from the model’s second year of production, in its early trapeze-tailpiece configuration. It is in near mint condition for its 73 years, and all the hardware is original except for the jack plate (original included) and the compensated bridge. That bridge, fitted for perfect playability, is not the original one: the original is resting quietly in the case. The guitar has also been refretted. Both P-90 pickups are original and read 6.55K in the neck and 7.35K in the bridge. The tuners are original Kluson single line, single ring. The neck measures 42.72 mm at the nut, 23.2 mm at the 1st fret and 26 mm at the 12th. It weighs 3.78 kg (8.33 lbs) and comes with its original case.
