The Ovation 1624 is a U.S.-made classical acoustic-electric guitar built in New Hartford, Connecticut. This model features Ovation's Lyrachord round-back body construction, a slotted headstock, nylon strings, and an onboard pickup system with volume control.
The 1624 combines a traditional classical neck and bridge design with Ovation's acoustic-electric platform. The guitar features a natural-finish top with multi-ply binding, decorative rosette, walnut bridge, and Ovation's textured black Lyrachord bowl back.
Condition:
A significant crack is present in the top. The crack extends from the bridge area toward the lower edge of the body and appears to have resulted from wood shrinkage. The guitar remains playable with a great sound despite the crack. The pickup system is functional.
