Fair condition 1968 Gibson SG Special in a yellow refinish. This is a very cool and aggressive example of a nicely modded late 60’s SG Special. No breaks. Bare Knuckle P90 in the neck. Gibson soapbar in the bridge position. Tuners have been exchanged for Grovers, and hold tune nicely. Has had a professional refret, and is playing wonderfully all the way up the neck. Has had a fresh setup. Super aggressive mid range from the neck pickup Bare Knuckle, with a very smooth tone to the bridge. Takes distortion pedals and gain very well as you would imagine. Could be a very cool recording guitar, or a candidate for an easy pickup swap. Surprisingly light. Newer wiring. Action is nice and low. Very smooth and comfortable neck from play wear. Serial number is still legible regardless of the refinish. These late 60’s Specials are always super cool and fun to play, modded or fully original. Comes with pictured hard shell case.
