Ampeg Jupiter 42 1969 - Black Rolex

One of the very rare Ampeg guitar amplifiers. A (blue line) jupiter 42 also labled a B42. Ampegs answer to the Twin Reverb. Has amazing reverb and a very unique vibrato/tremolo section that are unlike any other guitar amp. It’s very hard to find these with the blue silkscreen in good condition. This one I’d say is 8/10 on the labels. I think it’s rated for 85 watts. It’s loud to say the least. 6L6 power section but also sounds amazing with 5881’s. You can also jump the channels just like any fender or marshall. I bought this amp 20 years ago, had It serviced by the late Jimmy Soma of Austin TX (Somatone amps) built in the original Linden NJ factory. Someone installed a fan at some point. it doesn’t affect the circuit at all.
