Product Overview

This listing is for a pair of replacement walnut grill frames designed for JBL L100 / JBL L100 Century speakers using Quadrex-style foam grilles. These frames are a great choice for restoring the classic vintage look of your JBL L100 speakers while keeping the appearance clean, correct, and period-appropriate.

The JBL L100 is one of the most recognizable vintage speakers ever made, and the front grille presentation is a major part of its identity. A clean, properly fitted walnut-style frame helps complete the look of the speaker and gives the cabinet a more finished, collector-grade appearance.

Important Note

This listing is for the pair of wooden grill frames only. Foam grille inserts, JBL speakers, badges, and mounting pegs are not included unless specifically stated in this listing.

Quadrex, Fabric inserts and metal JBL badges all sold separately at HQaudios Ebay store.

Designed For

These frames are intended for customers restoring or upgrading the front appearance of vintage JBL L100 speakers. They are especially useful if your original frames are missing, warped, cracked, poorly repaired, or no longer suitable for a clean restoration.

• JBL L100
• JBL L100 Century
• Quadrex-style foam grille restoration projects

Because vintage speakers may have had previous repairs, modifications, or cabinet work over the years, we recommend checking your original speaker dimensions and mounting points before purchase. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering and we will be happy to help.

Build & Appearance

These frames are made to give your JBL L100 speakers a clean, classic walnut-style appearance. The goal is to preserve the warm vintage character of the original JBL design while providing a solid and attractive replacement for restoration use.

The finish is simple, clean, and appropriate for vintage JBL speakers. It is not overly glossy or modern-looking, so it pairs well with restored or original walnut JBL cabinets.

Condition: New replacement frames.

Each pair is inspected before shipping for overall appearance, frame integrity, and general fit quality. As with any wood or veneer product, natural grain variation may be present. This is normal and part of the vintage wood appearance.
