This was the flagship model, solidbody guitar for Yamaha in 1977. Designed in conjunction with legendary guitarist, Carlos Santana. This instrument was/is known as “the Les Paul killer”. It features a “T-Cross” neck-through-body construction. A thick mahogany body with carved maple top. Two dual Alnico V humbuckers & a built in brass sustain block beneath the bridge. It has a 24.75 inch scale length, an ebony fingerboard, 22 frets w/ mother of pearl inlays. This one is in its original cherry finish w/ gold hardware. The tuners were swapped out at some point with these old Schallers. The guitar ships in the hard case shown above.
