...but this isn't your typical 5th Avenue. It secretly sports a dual source pickup configuration carefully integrated into the factory pickup system.
A custom JJB dual 20mm piezo transducer was installed under the soundboard, and the factory input jack was replaced with a Neutrik NYS230 TRS jack.
What does this mean? This guitar can be played as either an electric or amplified acoustic!
How does this work? This guitar plugs in exactly as per factory with a standard guitar cable, except if you instead use a TRS stereo cable, you can then access the piezo on the stereo side of the circuit.
Including a Fishman AFX Pocket Blender pedal, which will allow you to switch between OR BLEND the two sources on the fly during a live performance.
Helpful tips:
If you forget your TRS cable at home, a normal cable will play just like factory, or you can pull the cable out halfway to the in-between position to get to the acoustic circuit.
