THE 35TH ANNIVERSARY LES PAUL CUSTOM WAS ISSUED TO COMMEMORATE 35 YEARS OF THE LES PAUL CUSTOM MODEL, WHICH WAS INTRODUCED IN 1954. THIS MODEL HAS THE WORDS "35TH ANNIVERSARY" WRITTEN ON THE HEADSTOCK. IT IS A 3 PICKUP MODEL WITH GOLD HARDWARE, KLUSON STYLE TUNERS, ABR-1 BRIDGE, WITH A VINTAGE STYLE SERIAL NUMBER IN "9 XXXX" FORMAT, THE "9" FOR 1989.
