Up for sale is a vintage Roland Blues Cube BC-60 1x12 Combo Amp. Long before modern modeling amps took over, Roland struck gold in the mid-to-late 1990s with the original Blues Cube line. Utilizing their early, highly acclaimed Tube Logic technology, the BC-60 was engineered to genuinely emulate the warm breakup, sag, and sag-compression of a vintage 6L6 vacuum-tube amplifier.

Wrapped in a beautiful vintage style cream/blonde covering with a brown grille cloth, this heavy-duty, open-back solid-state powerhouse loves pedalboards and is built like an absolute tank.

Service, Testing & Operational Status

We want to ensure you know exactly how this vintage amp performs out of the box:

• The Core Electronics: This amp has been bench-tested and plays loud and clear. To ensure a premium user experience, all potentiometers (control knobs) have been thoroughly cleaned and treated with DeoxIT electronic cleaner. Thanks to this maintenance, the knobs sweep smoothly with no crackle, scratchiness, or audio pops.
• The Spring Reverb (Important Note): This amplifier features a genuine, built-in analog multi-spring reverb tank (visible in the open-back chassis photos). The reverb circuit is currently experiencing some intermittent issues fully functioning. As a first step, we treated the top control panel's Reverb pot with DeoxIT, but the issue may reside deeper in the circuit connection or the spring tank itself. The reverb functions slightly but should be considered a candidate for minor troubleshooting or repair if you require heavy onboard ambient spring effects.

• Two Independent Channels: Features a pristine "Normal" channel that delivers classic, high-headroom clean tones, and a "Lead" channel capable of smooth blues grit all the way up to singing, high-gain classic rock crunch.
• Onboard Tone Shaping: Outfitted with a master 3-band EQ, an independent Presence control, a Bright switch, and dedicated Crunch/Boost parameters to push the front-end compression.
• Pro Connectivity: Equipped with High/Low inputs, a built-in effects loop, a dedicated Line Out jack, and dual footswitch inputs for hands-free channel switching.

The speaker cone will be shielded, and the entire cabinet will be wrapped in multiple layers of industrial bubble insulation before being suspended in a thick, heavy-duty shipping box to protect the chassis and internal spring tank during transit.
