This is a genuine vintage American-made Fender Telecaster from 1978, serial number S845588, produced during the CBS era. The body retains its original gloss black finish.
The maple neck with maple fretboard is in solid condition. Gold tuning machines are not original parts. I bought the guitar in Zagreb in the late 1990s from a dealer of used musical instruments. The gold tuning machines were already on the guitar.
