The Ovation OP30 guitar preamp was officially introduced in 1999, quickly becoming a staple on the Celebrity and Standard Balladeer series. It was designed as a high-performance upgrade, featuring a sophisticated 3-band EQ and a specialized "Pre-Shape" circuit to enhance acoustic clarity. A standout feature is its highly accurate built-in chromatic tuner, which allows for seamless tuning even when the guitar is unplugged. The unit also includes a dedicated Gain control and a Notch filter to effectively suppress feedback during live performances. Its sleek, modular design made it easy to swap or service, fitting perfectly into the standard Ovation preamp cavity. Known for its low-noise circuitry, it provides a crisp, transparent tone that respects the unique resonance of the Lyrachord body. Please notice that this preamp is designed to only be compatible left handed Ovation guitars.

The unit has been tested and deemed to be fully functional.

No connection cables are included.
