Vertigo Sound VSP 2 Preamp

Up for sale is Vertigo Sound VSP 2 Preamp, purchased brand new from Front End Audio.

This is a very rare and beautiful preamp that was built to order by Vertigo in Berlin, Germany. I placed the order on 10/27/25, and it was delivered on 12/4/25.

I went a bit preamp crazy in 2025 while trying to find the right match for a few microphone I was using at the time, and I decided to take a chance on the VSP 2 even though there was not a ton of information or sound examples available. It did not disappoint. 

The build quality and sound quality of the VSP 2 are excellent. I would describe it as having a vibrant, colorful (but subtle) character through the midrange and high frequencies, with a powerful and clear low end. 

I have since moved away from tracking, and my studio has been converted into more of a dedicated mixing room, which is the only reason for the sale. This VSP 2 has only been used a handful of times, and the results were beautiful.

If you are looking for something rare, inspiring, and unique to add to your signal chain or preamp collection, the VSP 2 offers a sound and feel unlike any other preamp I have tried. This is also a great chance to skip the build time, international shipping, customs process, and import hassle. 

The unit has been very well cared for in a high end studio and has seen almost no use. Condition is excellent overall. The only blemish is a small scratch on the top center of the chassis from racking, which is not visible once the unit is installed in a rack. This unit is heavy, beautifully built, and made to last.

Ships with the original box, power cord, protective packaging, and manual.
