For sale is my 1976 Marshall JMP 2100 Lead & Bass 50 watt combo.  These amps are insanely rare and were available only for UK mail order between the production years of 1973-1976.  One channel represents the Super Lead circuit while the other channel represents the Super Bass circuit – so you can dial in multiple Marshall “flavors” (and of course you can jump the channels).

I purchased this amp from the Music Locker out of the UK (they specialize in vintage Marshall amps) and took delivery of it in May of 2025.  I had the amp looked over and serviced by John Berrier from Berrier Audio Works in June of 2025.  For those with serious interest, I can provide you documentation of servicing etc., but John simply replaced all the caps w Marshall spec’d ZOSO caps – he also replaced all of the original pots with high quality Bournes pots and rewired the tone stack properly.  The result of John’s work is a perfectly working glorious vintage Marshall amp that needs NOTHING.

The amp comes w/ two Celestion G12M speakers – one is an original T1221 (dating to April 1976) and the other is a later replacement T1281 dating to January 1977.  The transformers are original to the amp, however the output transformer has been professionally rewound (this was done prior to my purchase).  The amp has a mix of vintage and modern valves.

The amp DOES NOT have a voltage selector, so it must function with a step-up transformer (which is included in the sale) if used in the USA.  The step-up transformer, alone, was over $500.

The amp comes as pictured with patina galore and a non-original amp cover (As well as the step up transformer).

This is a local sale – I will not ship this amp.

Joe Bonamassa claims this amp as a contender for the “only” amp you need for a gig. I included a video of JB playing his JMP 2100 Lead & Bass.
