MFA Magus preamplifier and power supply in Very Good condition

Tested: Everthing works well, but there is a low level "white noise" when no signal is present. It can't be heard when in use at listenable level. We have price it with this in mind.

Cosmetic condition: Face is clean and has minor discoloration. Top and sides have minor scratches see photos 5-7 & 12, 13. Backplate is fairly clean and has minor scratches and the RCA ports are in good condition see photos 7-10. Bottom has scuffs and scratches and is missing 3 rubber feet see photo 13.

This 1970s Moore Frankland Associates (MFA) Magus preamplifier is a legendary piece of audiophile history. Known for its incredible phono stage, massive soundstage, and sweet, musical presentation, this unit sounds as beautiful as it looks.

  • Premium, point-to-point hand-wired circuit design.
  • Robust external power supply to minimize noise and hum.
  • Renowned high-gain tube phono stage for vinyl lovers.
  • High-quality potentiometers and premium internal components.
