Zim-Gar MIJ vintage snare drum with case and stand

This is a vintage Japanese 6 lug snare drum with the Zim-Gar brand badge. Likely from the 1960s judging from the round badge. This snare sounds nice and typical of this sort of wood snare. Couple of things to note about this piece: the throw off is missing the lever, the top head has a small hole in it. The throw off issue doesn't prevent the drum from working but it does make disengaging the snare strand impossible. The tension screw still functions. Otherwise the drum is in good shape cosmetically for a drum in this age range. The wrap looks good. The metal parts show some pitting and a minor amount of oxidation. Included with the drum is a snare stand and fiber shell case.
