This Josef Lorenz 3/4 size violin was made in Luby (formerly Schönbach), Czechoslovakia and is a great choice for a young student or beginner violinist. The interior label reads "JOSEF LORENZ – Luby (Schönbach) – Czechoslovakia." The instrument features a traditional amber-brown varnish with attractive grain visible through the finish and classic violin styling throughout.

The violin is being sold as an instrument only. Please note that a bow and case are not included with this listing.

Features

  • 3/4 size violin
  • Josef Lorenz labeled instrument
  • Made in Luby (Schönbach), Czechoslovakia
  • Traditional amber-brown finish
  • Ebony-style fingerboard
  • Four fine tuners installed on the tailpiece
  • Chinrest installed

Cosmetic Condition

This violin is in good used condition and shows normal signs of age and use. The finish displays light surface wear, minor scratches, and handling marks consistent with regular student use. The edges, corners, and scroll show expected wear but no major damage is visible.

The fingerboard appears straight and clean. Tuning pegs are present and intact. The bridge is installed.

Functional Notes

The violin body is structurally sound but currently needs a replacement for one string. Additionally, this listing does not include a bow or a storage case. Once a replacement string is installed, tuned, and paired with a bow and case, it will be completely ready for play. As with any pre-owned string instrument, a fresh set of strings and minor adjustment by a qualified violin technician may help optimize performance to the next owner's preferences.

Included

  • Josef Lorenz 3/4 Size Violin Only (Bow and Case NOT included)

Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual instrument you will receive.
