Up for sale is a Josef Lorenz 4/4 Full Size Violin made in Luby (formerly Schönbach), Czechoslovakia. This violin bears the original interior label reading "JOSEF LORENZ – Luby (Schönbach) – Czechoslovakia" and represents the long tradition of violin making associated with the Schönbach/Luby region, one of the historic centers of string instrument production in Central Europe.

The violin features a warm amber-brown varnish with attractive spruce top grain visible beneath the finish and traditional carved maple construction. Its appearance is clean and well-preserved, making it an appealing instrument for students, advancing players, collectors of Czech instruments, or anyone seeking a European-made violin.

Condition

This violin is in good used condition.
