I am the original owner of this mic and used it often as a live mic for acoustic guitar. There are a few places on the front where the black paint has scraped off. This is from the few times I would accidentally touch my guitar to the mic while playing. It is just cosmetic wear and not damage as I was always very careful to keep this mic in a small padded pelican case and take good care of it. I don't ever remember dropping it. Comes with original well-padded box but I no longer have the accessories except the user's manual.

This is a great mic. People use them for drums but I had great luck with acoustic instruments. On the video with this listing, my instrumental tune L'Aubergine, you can hear me using this mic to record an 1891 Martin parlor guitar, and a 1943 Kay bass, both with gut strings and using this mic.
