Vintage Ovation Typhoon Bass 1222-2 Fretted 1968/69 - Wine Red

Bass is in very good shape with some checking on the front. Set up with flatwounds and ready to play. Frets have plenty of life in them. Nice flame on the back. Bass has not seen much use in its 55+ year life. Comes with original red lined case.

The 1968 era Ovation Typhoon II is a rare, 30-inch scale bass featuring a German made semi-hollow body (maple back/sides, spruce top), and an American made Ovation neck. The Model 1222-2 includes dual single-coil pickups with master volume and dual tone controls, a 3-way switch, rosewood fingerboard, and 21 Frets.
