An Ibanez “SR1000” electric bass, made in Japan by Fujigen in 1997.

The neck pocket is stamped with “SR1000 CR or GR.”

Since there is no model in the catalogs from that era with specifications that exactly match this instrument, it is believed to be a one-off model.

Judging by its appearance, the body appears to have a three-layer construction of maple/mahogany/maple.

The maple on the top and back features a moderate amount of flame figure, giving it a premium feel.
