Up for sale is an incredibly smooth-playing Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II full hollow-body archtop guitar. If you are looking for that classic, warm, smoky jazz and blues tone with effortless playability, this is the one.

Condition & Player's Notes (Please Read Carefully): I would conservatively grade this guitar between Good and Very Good condition. It shows some honest cosmetic wear from being played, but mechanically it is an absolute workhorse. Please note the following specific details so there are zero surprises:

• The Playability (The Best Part): This guitar was professionally set up by a pro tech. The action is low, smooth, and it plays like an absolute dream. Finding a floating-bridge archtop with perfect intonation and action can be tough, but the heavy lifting has already been done for you here. This saves you a costly trip to a guitar luthier.
• The Scratch Plate: The original plastic scratch plate (pickguard) was removed because I prefer the clean, classic look of an open hollow-body. The tiny screw holes where it was mounted are visible (see photos).
• Electronics Note: One of the control knobs (the volume/tone pot) is loose or stripped internally. When you turn the knob, the entire internal housing spins rather than stopping firmly at '0' or '10', and it gives a distinct "click" when it closes completely. The electronics are functional but will eventually need a simple replacement pot or a quick tighten. Because this is a full hollow-body archtop, accessing the wiring requires fishing it through the F-holes or pickup cavities. The guitar is priced down accordingly to reflect this minor bench project.
