1970’s MTI Rotophaser RM-80 Portable Rotary Speaker Rig Incl. Orange Power Pedal & Custom Switch

Very cool 1970's Rotophaser speakers. These were the original portable Leslie, made in Italy. Just a horn, but with a crossover & output for a lower speaker cabinet. Includes everything for a plug & play Leslie set up, these are the ultimate in portable Leslies but with real, loud, doppler sonic magic!

Both have been recently recapped, internally cleaned & lubricated, and essentially restored with the pedal rigs.

These have custom made orange footswitches for each included. They have LED lights to indicate between fast/slow/stop. The cables are nice and long on the footswitches.

Additionally, each speaker cabinet inclues an orange "Terror Stamp" amplifier pedal to power them. These are SUPER powerful, it's kind of crazy, they really crank the leslies! They are nice tube-pre, two channel pedals that have volume, shape, and gain controls. All together these make for a great, plug & play Leslie rig.

I use them on their own, which is great for a guitar leslie. If you want a good hammond organ sound (with a nord for instance), using a small lower speaker cab is a good idea. There is dummy plug to stop a "bypass" function from the original MTI speaker. This way you could revert the speaker to OG function if you wanted to (but it's pretty unneccesarilly complicated, it's best as is). The orange pedal will still power the lower speaker if you do want to use a stationary cabinet for lower frequencies.

These Italian Leslies (like the Farfisa RSC series) can have pretty noisy motors. These ones are much quieter than the Farfisa or Cordovox Leslies that I have heard. The cleaning/lubrication helped quite a bit.

Tolex is mostly all there, but peeling around the seams. I glue'd some of it back down, which isn't too hard to do to. Initially I was hoping to retolex these (in orange of course), but time being what it is, I just never got around to it and now I've moved.
