This is an Electro-Harmonix POG2 that has been modified for MIDI control.
I modified it myself a few years ago and honestly have had zero problems with it. I'm only selling it because I recently made the jump to a POG3 to get stereo . . . to annoy my band mates.
Anyone who's used a POG2 before knows that the presets are a welcome improvement from the original POG, but if you find yourself going from preset 7 to preset 5 in a setlist, or worse, in a song, you're tapping the button 6 times or crouching down to turn the wheel. The MIDI control will allow the POG2 to receive PC commands to change presets.
The MIDI module is made by a Czech company called Microdesignum.
What is installed is the standard MIDI module, not the MIDI module with bypass.
You'll do all the MIDI programming through their web interface. You'll need a plug-in that doesn't work on all browsers--I have no trouble on Chrome.
Read all about that before buying to make sure it meets your needs.
You'll also need a MIDI to USB interface so that the pedal can talk to the computer--lucky for you if you read this far, you'll know that I'm including a Roland UM-ONE so you can get going right away.
As for pricing . . . the Czech company is happy to sell you new/modded pedals for $600, but it looks like POG2's are going for $200ish and POG3's are going for $350ish, so I'm going to split the difference-ish and say $275. It's really competing against POG3's at this point.
I'll be out of the country from 6/20-6/25 so if you order somewhere in there, it will not ship until 6/26 or later.
