1994 Superstrat! This is one of two Fender Custom Shop Stratocasters built in 1994 by Master Builder Gene Baker signed and dated 11/19/1994 as a prototype for NAMM show in 1995 with serial number 0002. It has an arched Curved Flame top with Flamed wood binding. HSS fittings. Roller Saddle nut and Fender/ Floyd Rose 2 point locking tremolo. Features Bird's Eye Maple neck with beautiful pearl inlays and locking tuners. Medium C profile neck. 

Has two single coil Texas Special pickups and a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker at the bridge. The production model was eventually called a Carved Top Strat while the NAMM prototype was called a Curved Top.

Body Construction: Solid body with a 3/16-inch carved (arched) top. Top Material: Book-matched highly figured flame maple. Back Material: Premium light ash. Binding: Natural masked maple wood binding.

Finish: Transparent Green polyurethane

Neck & Fingerboard  

 Neck Material: Highly figured bird's-eye maple. Fingerboard: Bird's-eye maple (matching neck). Neck Profile: Mid-'60s oval "C" shape. Frets: 22 medium jumbo frets. Scale Length: 25.5 inches (648 mm).

Fingerboard Radius: 9.5 inches (241 mm). Nut Material: Wilkinson roller nut.

Electronics & Pickups

Configuration: HSS (Humbucker / Single-Coil / Single-Coil). Bridge Pickup: Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker (with dual rows of fillister screws). Middle Pickup: Texas Special Single-Coil. Neck Pickup:

Texas Special Single-Coil. Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone. Switching: 5-position blade selector switch

Hardware

   Bridge: Fender/Floyd Rose 2-point synchronized tremolo with locking saddles. Tuning Machines:

Sperzel locking tuners. Hardware Finish: Chrome / Nickel.
