I got this from a guy who had it for years
He bought from an old country player from Nashville
Might have left the factory this way
Or possibly sent back to Fender for this finish
I had an all original 1966 Jaguar in the identical color-so who knows?
The country player put holes on the back to use his accordion strap on the bass
I have seen this done on some vintage Fenders over the years
Pick guard looks to be newer
The chrome covers might be newer too
Whatever the story is on it - it's super cool & in pretty good overall condition
Has the original hard case-might be a 64' no logo case
