Guild Newark St. Collection Starfire II ST 2018 - 2019 - Black

Up for sale is a Guild Newark St. Collection Starfire II ST in Black, a fully hollow electric guitar that captures the classic Guild aesthetic and tone while incorporating modern playability and reliability.

Featuring a fully hollow laminated mahogany body, set mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and a pair of Guild's LB-1 "Little Bucker" pickups, the Starfire II ST delivers a unique voice that sits comfortably between traditional humbuckers and mini-humbuckers. The result is a warm, articulate sound with excellent clarity, making it equally at home with clean, edge-of-breakup, and overdriven tones.

I purchased this guitar from Broken Guitars in Oakland and had it professionally set up by renowned Bay Area luthier Chris Barnett shortly afterward. Since then, it has lived in a studio environment and has been used on only two recording sessions. It has never been toured or regularly gigged during my ownership.

The guitar remains in excellent condition and shows very little evidence of use. Frets, electronics, hardware, finish, and neck are all in excellent shape, and the instrument plays beautifully.
