Here is a drop dead gorgeous, near minty 1961 Gibson Es5 Switchmaster, albeit with some changed parts.. Comes with : original caligirl case, in very nice condition, and several other original items: The original instruction sheet. The original Hang Tag, and more, as pictured, all in excelllent condition. There is not a single scratch or dent anywhere on this instrument, other tha a very thin missing bit of lacquer on one side of the neck joint. This not to be confused with a Crack! The neck is amazing, wide and flatish; plays like butter. Now for the bad stuff: The grover tuners are modern replacements. The 3 pickups are modern gibson burstbuckers. The internal wiring and the pots, have all been replaced. The Pickup switchcap is not original. The tailpiece IS original, as is the case. The 4 position pickup switch IS original, but came from another switchmaster. Plays Great, looks Great, sounds Great....If this isnt enough of a guitar for you, something must be wrong.... :) Original Es5 Switchmasters are selling for 17000 to 30,000 . This one is a bargain.
