I purchased both the EL7x and the EL-FTC in 2024, and kept them in a climate controlled studio. I'm currently in the process of selling all my analog gear, as I need the funding for other creative projects. Analog gear is awesome if you can afford to have it, but I've found it's not crucial to my workflow as an engineer.
