Manufactured in Chicago, Illinois during the late 1930s, this drum features Slingerland's legendary one-ply steam-bent solid maple shell with solid maple reinforcement rings. Original three-point strainer, engraved Radio King batter hoop, and copper Chicago badge, this pre-war example represents the golden age of Slingerland drum manufacturing. Revered for its warmth, sensitivity, and unmistakable vintage character. The original White Marine Pearl wrap has aged beautifully to a rich cream patina, further enhancing its vintage appeal.
This snare is in great condition but has some cracking in the wrap (seen in photos).
