Vintage 1978 Ibanez Artist 2619 made in Japan during the golden era of late-70s Japanese guitar manufacturing.
Original electronics and original Super 80 “Flying Finger” pickups.
Excellent playing guitar with low action and tons of sustain. Neck is straight and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck.
Does not have the binding rot that many of these have.
Beautiful vintage brown sunburst / violin-style finish with natural wear consistent with age.

Some light age-related oxidation/patina on pickup covers and hardware, consistent with vintage instruments of this era.

This is a serious vintage MIJ instrument from Ibanez’s peak late-70s era and has the feel and build quality people look for in these older Artists.
Includes case candy of original Ibanez sales registration card from Sam Ash in NYC.
Normal cosmetic wear for a nearly 50-year-old guitar. No structural issues.
